Like in the previous years, all Nanyang pupils from Primary One and Primary Two will be taught the basics of chess within the school curriculum based on an 8-hour introductory module called "Readiness Chess", a part of our larger
"Mind-Sports for Life" Program. Conducted in a fun, engaging and highly instructive way, this module is meant both to offer the basic tools for chess learning and to inspire pupils to pick up mind-sports as hobbies.
In 2012 the P1s and P2s are offered a supplementary, optional course: a fee-based after-school enrichment program called "Mastering Chess Step by Step". Based on a 10-lesson module, this course will be taught and organized by ASEAN Chess Academy and its professional chess trainers, with our school teachers & experts monitoring it.

1. Keep the cheque and deliver it to the ACA trainer during the very first session of the course

Important Announcement: All pupils for this program are required to meet at the Meeting Point on January 17 and 18 at 13:50. From there, the trainers will take them to the hilltop building where a briefing will take place in Class 1M.
